Hi, I’m Bree!

My love for tie dye started back in high school after dyeing shirts with a friend a few times. Years later, during the pandemic in 2020, I picked it back up as a creative outlet—and quickly fell right back in love. Before long, I was scanning my house for anything white that could use a pop of color. At that point, my husband suggested I turn it into a small side business, probably to redirect my attention away from our curtains. 

By 2022, tie dye had grown from a passion project into my full‑time job. Bree Happy Designs is a one‑woman, woman‑owned business, and I personally handle all of the tie dyeing and hemp jewelry making to ensure everything is consistent and high quality. My husband serves as my sounding board, occasional voice of reason, and logistics helper, an area where I’m happy to accept support. Everything else? That’s all me.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a local band on merchandise, partner with multiple schools for spirit wear, and collaborate with a variety of local businesses on branded apparel for employee uniforms as well as custom retail merchandise for their customers. I ship nationwide, and in 2025 I reached a long‑time goal of shipping to all 50 states within a single calendar year.

During the warmer months, you’ll usually find me vending at local events across Northeast Ohio on the weekends (Look for the rainbow tent!), with a few popping up in the fall and holiday season as well. I’ve also had the chance to appear on New Day Cleveland twice, and I’m hoping for a return visit soon.

When I’m not dyeing, packing orders, or working on the never-ending administrative tasks of small business ownership , I’m a homebody at heart. I’m happiest at home with my husband, our three dogs, and four cats. You can also find me cheering on Cleveland sports teams (a hobby that... builds character.), curled up with a good book, or working with a coffee nearby while listening to 90s and 00s music.

I’m incredibly grateful for the support Bree Happy Designs has received over the years. Whether you’ve placed an order, stopped by my booth, shared my work with a friend, or followed along online, it truly means the world to me. Because of that support, I get to do work I genuinely love and create something colorful with my own two hands. My goal is to add color to the world, one creation at a time!
